FIREBIRD 1970-81 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Unscrew and remove the shift knob from the shifter. Using a Torx T25, carefully remove the four Torx screws securing the shifter trim piece, and lift it out.
2. Slide the old shift boot off and replace with new boot.
3. The boot will be sandwiched between the floor and the trim piece.
4. Reinstall trim piece and shift knob.

Useful tip You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
