1. Pry off trim shifter trim panel using the flat blade screwdriver to access underside of shift boot. (Wrap blade in tape to prevent scratching). |

2. Using the Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws that keeps the shift boot attached to the trim panel. |
 |
|
3. Unscrew the shift knob from the shifter. |
 |
|
4. Pull shift boot off shifter. Remove black ring from top of shift boot. (Remove carefully, as the ring is glued to shift boot) Save this ring to use on new shift boot. DO NOT DISCARD! |

5. Fit your new shift boot on the trim panel, making sure it is snug and holes line up correctly. |

|
6. Replace the two screws to secure the shift boot to the trim panel.
7. Slide the black retaining ring inside the new shift boot and glue the top open part of the new boot to the retaining ring.
8. Replace the shifter trim panel on the console.
9. Replace shift knob on shifter.

Useful tip You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking. |
